(Updated) Instagram photo contest: Win tickets to ‘Lion King’

Day One of "Cousin Camp" was a ROAR-ing 🦁good time at the @fresnochaffeezoo !!! To celebrate CMT’s impressive summer season (which includes two local community theater premieres in a row), The Munro Review is giving away a family four-pack of tickets for a closing-weekend performance. Here’s the wrinkle: The actual contest is on Instagram.

If you’re our winner, you have a choice of attending one of these performances: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11; 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12; or 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12.

“The Lion King” is all about the animals. Now I doubt that anyone reading this post lives on a savannah. However, most all of you have one or more animals in your life whom you love. To enter this contest, you’ll need to take a picture of your favorite animal. (By the way, you get to define “animal,” so if you don’t have a pet handy, get creative.)

Rules for @DonaldMunroArts Instagram Photo Challenge

1. If you’re not already following me on Instagram, follow me: @DonaldMunroArts

2. Take a photo of an animal in your life you love and post it on Instagram with the following two hashtags: #MunroReview #CMTFresno

3. Also, indicate your preferred performance date and time: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11; 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12; or 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12.

4. The Instagram photo must posted between now and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9.

I’ll choose one entry at random and confirm with the winner that evening. Then I’ll announce the winner of the @DonaldMunroArts Photo Challenge on my blog (www.MunroReview.com) along with a manegerie of your beloved animal pics.
