A note to readers

Dear readers,

I’m announcing a change in the membership structure of The Munro Review. I created another membership category called a Basic Membership. This one is free. All you have to do is sign up. (As you’ll recall, the other tiers of monthly recurring memberships are $5, $10 and $25.) All members (and donors and individual sponsors), including those who have signed up in the Basic category, will be eligible to enter ticket giveaways on the site. Go to the Membership and Sponsorship page for more details.

Of course, I’m still relying on paid memberships to help keep this site running financially. I want to offer another benefit for those members. That’s where my special Members Events will come in. In addition to being able to enter ticket giveaways, all paid members will get a chance to sign up for quarterly events with me. These will include private tours of artist studios, backstage tours at local productions, musical demonstrations by prominent musicians, and art-film screening nights at my house. I’ll be sharing more details as arrangements are finalized.

And, please, consider joining as a paid member as a way to keep non-profit professional local arts journalism alive.
