Win tickets to Broadway in Fresno’s ‘Something Rotten!’ plus dinner at Cosmo
You can win a pair of tickets to opening night of Broadway in Fresno’s “Something Rotten!” (7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, Saroyan Theatre). This new musical comedy tells the story of brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom, two playwrights stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rockstar Will Shakespeare. Not only do you get a chance to see a Tony Award nominee, you’ll also be treated to dinner for two (and free parking) at the wonderful Cosmopolitan Tavern and Grill.
The contest is open only to members, donors and individual sponsors of The Munro Review. Tax-deductible memberships start at $5 a month, and you can make a one-time donation of as little as $3. (Paid memberships help keep the site running, and paid members get special members-only benefits. Please consider a paid membership in support of independent, local arts journalism.) A free membership option is available. For details on how to join, go to the Membership and Sponsorship page. No purchase, donation or membership is necessary to enter the ticket giveaway.
To enter this giveaway, leave a reply on this post (see below) answering this question: If you could ask William Shakespeare one question, what would it be? (Or you can just say why you’d like to attend.) Deadline to enter is 1 p.m. Thursday, April 11. The winner will be picked at random and notified by email.
The Munro Review has no paywall but is financially supported by readers who believe in its non-profit mission of bringing professional arts journalism to the central San Joaquin Valley.
