Celebrate CSU Summer Arts with The Munro Review by entering a giveaway for two all-festival passes

Summer Arts is just around the corner.

To celebrate, I’m giving away two Summer Arts all-festival passes to a lucky member of The Munro Review.

For those who aren’t familiar with the program, here’s how organizers describe it:

CSU Summer Arts is an immersive, multi-disciplinary arts experience, that offers master classes in the fields of art, creative writing, dance, media, music and theater. Classes are taught by guest artists and CSU professors who are renowned in their fields. During Summer Arts, the public is invited to live performances by the visiting guest artists where they can experience world-class talent that is often only enjoyed in major metropolitan areas. Summer Arts students also proudly showcase their artistic talents and what they have created during the intensive summer program. Student Showcases are July 5 and 6, and July 19 and 20.

One highlight is “An Evening of Chicago Style Comedy” (7 p.m. Saturday, June 29, John Wright Theatre). It features a mix of improv and sketch comedy by artists from Chicago’s Second City and more, including Dave Razowsky, Amy Seeley, Jamie Moyer, Mike Ross, Patrick Rowland, and Carlos Santos. Another is a “Paris is Burning” Screening, Conversation, and Drag Reception (7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, John Wright Theatre). Overall there are more than 20 public events.

The contest is open to members, donors and individual sponsors of The Munro Review. You can join for as little as $5 a month. Details on memberships and how to enter the contest are below; a free membership is available. The Munro Review is under the fiscal sponsorship of the Community Media Access Collaborative, a registered non-profit. All memberships and donations are tax-deductible. See below for more info on how to enter.

A free membership option is available. For details on how to join, go to the Membership and Sponsorship page. No purchase, donation or membership is necessary to enter the ticket giveaway.

To enter this giveaway, leave a reply on this post (see below) saying you’d like to attend the concert.

Summer Arts, is a good way to find some entertainment value, in the heat of Fresno’s summer month’s. As always Fresno State continues to provide an outlet for a variety of Art and Entertainment.
