Spaces available for final week of Shine! Theatre Company’s youth virtual theater camp

Shine! Theatre

Shine! Theatre’s virtual summer camp’s last session begins Monday, July 27.

It’s pretty much impossible to get away to summer camp these days, but Fresno’s Shine! Theatre is offering the next best thing for its annual Camp Shine!: a virtual experience that gives children ages 8-17 an intensive theater experience.

This full-day online camp offers students the opportunity to explore a mix of classes focusing on acting/improv, dance, stagecraft and voice. Student artists will select a “major” and two “electives.” The week concludes with a virtual recital and gallery walk. Only 10 students will be accepted per class.

The camp runs 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31. Cost is $225 per child.

Shine! Theatre is under the artistic direction of tony sanders, a noted theater educator and local actor.
