Win tickets
to Fresno Philharmonic's
'Tales of the Silk Road'
You can win two tickets to the Fresno Philharmonic’s “Tales of the Silk Road” concert (3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, Saroyan Theatre). The concert includes world-class soloist Wu Man on the pipa, an ancient Chinese instrument, playing Zhao Jiping’s Pipa Concerto No. 2, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade.”
The contest is open only to members, donors and individual sponsors of The Munro Review. Tax-deductible memberships start at $5 a month, and you can make a one-time donation of as little as $3. (Paid memberships help keep the site running, and paid members get special members-only benefits. Please consider a paid membership in support of independent, local arts journalism.) A free membership option is available. For details on how to join, go to the Membership and Sponsorship page. No purchase, donation or membership is necessary to enter the ticket giveaway.
To enter this giveaway, leave a reply on this post below answering this question: Did you hear Wu Man play the pipa with the Fresno Philharmonic when she came in 2014? (Or you can just tell us why you want to attend the concert.) Deadline to enter is 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17. Two winners will each receive a pair of tickets. Winners will be picked at random and notified by email.
