Win tickets to Selma Arts Center’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Selma Arts Center

You can win a pair of tickets to any opening-weekend performance of Selma Arts Center’s new production of “Beauty and the Beast.” It opens Friday, Sept. 20.

You can watch an interview with cast members Emma DenBesten (Belle), Aaron Pierce (the Beast) and Jessica Meredith (Mrs. Potts) on the September episode of my CMAC talk show.

The contest is open only to members, donors and individual sponsors of The Munro Review. Tax-deductible memberships start at $5 a month, and you can make a one-time donation of as little as $3. (Paid memberships help keep the site running, and paid members get special members-only benefits. Please consider a paid membership in support of independent, local arts journalism.) A free membership option is available. For details on how to join, go to the Membership and Sponsorship page. No purchase, donation or membership is necessary to enter the ticket giveaway.

To enter this giveaway, leave a reply on this post (see below) answering this question: If you were transformed into an enchanted object in your own home, what would it be? (Or, if you’re shy, you can just say why you’d like to attend.) You’ll be able to choose among these performances: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20; 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21; or 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.

Deadline to enter is 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.  15. The winner will be picked at random and notified by email.

The Munro Review has no paywall but is financially supported by readers who believe in its non-profit mission of bringing professional arts journalism to the central San Joaquin Valley. You can help by signing up for a monthly recurring paid membership or make a one-time donation of as little as $3. All memberships and donations are tax-deductible.

I think I’d turn into a Brita Filter… My song would be entitled, “Water Goes Where Brita Flows.”

My preference would be to be transformed into an enchanted coffee machine. Nothing more indispensable in my household.

I’d be transformed into a fridge. I’d sing “Baby, it’s cold inside.”
