Win tickets to Children’s Musical Theaterworks production of ‘Frozen Jr.’

CMT

You’ve probably already seen “Frozen 2” at the movie theater, so why not go back to where the story all started? You can win a family four-pack of tickets to the Children’s Musical Theaterworks production of “Frozen Jr.” The show opens Friday, Dec. 6, at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in downtown Fresno. You’ll be able to pick from the 2 and 7:30 p.m. performances on Saturday or 2 p.m. Sunday; or any of the second weekend performances.

Here’s a description of the show:

“Frozen Jr.” is based on the 2018 Broadway musical and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, “Frozen Jr.” expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa.

The contest is open only to members, donors and individual sponsors of The Munro Review. Tax-deductible memberships start at $5 a month, and you can make a one-time donation of as little as $3. (Paid memberships help keep the site running, and paid members get special members-only benefits. Please consider a paid membership in support of independent, local arts journalism.) A free membership option is available. For details on how to join, go to the Membership and Sponsorship page. No purchase, donation or membership is necessary to enter the ticket giveaway.

To enter this giveaway, leave a reply on this post (see below) answering this question: If you could hang out for a day with one of the “Frozen” characters, which would it be? (Or you can just say why you’d like to attend.) Include which performance you’d like to attend. Deadline to enter is 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. The winner will be picked at random and notified by email.

Well if I was my Granddaughter I would have to say Elsa because she loves the magical aspects and the ability to freeze things, for me I have spent my movie time trying so match the story line to The Snow Queen, one of my favorite stories as a child by Hans Christian Anderson.
I would love to take my granddaughter to see the play!
