Just a jump to the Selma Arts Center: You can win tickets to a live ‘Rocky Horror’
Are you ready for a little “Time Warp”?
The Selma Arts Center is getting into the “Rocky Horror” spirit with two performances only of the musical based on the cult-classic 1975 film. A little Facebook elf told me that the first, show-only performance on Friday, Oct. 26, is sold out. But for readers of The Munro Review, I can get one lucky reader and a companion into the special “Halloween Costume Ball” on Saturday, Oct. 27. Here’s a description:
Join us for a Halloween extravaganza and costume ball before the performance. We encourage our audiences to come dressed in their best Halloween costumes. Admission grants you entry into the party featuring games, drinks, and music, plus a costume contest with fabulous prizes. Alcoholic beverages will be sold along with concessions. You’re also guaranteed a seat for the performance of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW! Doors open and party kicks off at 9:30pm with showtime at 11:30pm. Tickets are $30.
With only two performances and boasting a stellar cast — including Terry Lewis, Camille Gaston, Alex Figueroa, Abigail Nolte, Aaron Pierce, Emma DenBesten, Daniel LaJune, Alina Gonzalez, and Jacquie Wilson Broach — tickets are sure to go quickly for the big party.
To enter my giveaway, click on the official entry post and leave a comment there. The deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, so don’t dawdle.
